The DNA strands always struck me as physically beautiful, even aside from the fact that DNA is life.  In my search for happiness the first thing I had to learn was to choose life.  Once I understood that, it also occurred to me that if we can choose life, perhaps we can also choose happiness.  The thought led to my stop by step journey to making better choices in the way I think and view life, all of which led to learning to be joyful, and which I share through my jewelry, art, writing and life.
